This page explains how Artisancladstudio, the trading name of Artisanclad Studio, handles the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information under US state privacy laws, and how you can opt out. We apply these choices to every customer in the United States, not only residents of California.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA):

• A "sale" means giving personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
• "Sharing" means giving personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across different websites, even when no money changes hands.

Several other states give similar rights to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling.

We do not share your name, email address, mailing address, or payment information for advertising.

Service Providers Are Not a Sale or Share

Some companies process personal information on our behalf under contract, only to provide services to us. They are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes, so these disclosures are not a sale or share:

• PayPal (payment processing)
• DigitalOcean Spaces (file and image storage)
• OpenAI (product search on our site)
• Telegram (order notifications to our staff)
• Our email service provider (SMTP)
• Shipping carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL

How to Opt Out

Use either of these two methods:

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and include the email address you used on our site.
2. Fill out the form below with the same information.

You do not need an account, and we will not ask you to verify your identity for an opt-out request. We ask only for the information needed to process it. We may decline a request only if we have a reasonable, documented belief that it is fraudulent, and if we do, we will tell you why.

How Long It Takes

We act on your opt-out as soon as we can, and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We will also notify the parties that received your information after you submitted your request that you have opted out, so they stop using it.

Authorized Agents

You may have an authorized agent submit an opt-out or other privacy request for you. We may ask for a signed authorization from you confirming the agent may act on your behalf.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Our site does not currently process Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. To opt out, please email us or use the form on this page as described above.

After You Opt Out

We stop sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still see ads, but they won't be based on your activity on our site. We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months, unless you ask us to.

Consumers Under 16

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without prior opt-in consent. Consumers aged 13 to 15 can give that consent themselves; children under 13 need a parent's or guardian's consent.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, so we do not offer a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link. Payment information is handled by PayPal.

Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your state, you may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling, and the right to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and may extend that by another 45 days when needed, with notice to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Appeals

If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days and explain our reasoning. If you still disagree, you may contact your state's Attorney General.

No Discrimination

We will not refuse to sell to you, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
